Community Connections Shine During National Health Center Week

National Health Center Week was a vibrant celebration of connection, collaboration, and community health at All Care Health Center. Each day brought a new opportunity to bring care into our community—meeting people where they are and showcasing how our team supports whole-person health.
Our Mobile Medical Center made stops at four Council Bluffs schools—Kirn Junior High, Wilson Junior High, Abraham Lincoln High School, and Carter Lake Elementary—welcoming students, families, and staff. The Boy Scouts of America and CHI joined us with Bluffs Country to interact with students.

The week also featured events to connect with some of our most vulnerable neighbors. At New Visions Homeless Services, we hosted a luau-themed gathering, fostering camaraderie and providing health resource information. Later in the week, MICAH House guests enjoyed Cookies & Conversation—a warm connection to our adjacent clinic and its providers.
Inside our health center, over 65 patients participated in focus groups—in both English and Spanish—learning more about All Care’s services and sharing their feedback. Wellpoint and Molina shared information with patients in our lobby to help them better utilize their Medicaid benefits.
We also welcomed All Care Ambassadors—community leaders, partners, and students—and elected officials, for guided tours of our sites. Riding together via SWITA, participants saw firsthand how integrated care comes to life across multiple locations, concluding with lunch and conversation with members of our leadership team.
Throughout the week, our staff and a few Community Impact Sponsors read books—shared both live and pre-recorded—reaching hundreds of listeners on Facebook and Instagram. Farmers Market Bucks giveaways, wellness activities, and a festive open house at our Omni location rounded out the celebration.

National Health Center Week reminded us of the power of partnerships and the importance of bringing health care beyond clinic walls. Thank you to our patients, partners, staff, and volunteers who made this celebration possible—and to our community, for trusting us with your care every day.
National Health Center Week would not have been possible without the generosity of our Community Impact Sponsors:
