Care Today. Hope for Tomorrow. Preparing Our Hearts for Giving Tuesday

Silas often sought brief shelter in All Care’s waiting room. Though homeless, he knew he was safe here, surrounded by his compassionate primary care provider and the rest of his medical team. On this day, however, Silas needed more than a corner chair to rest—he arrived battered, weary, and in urgent need of care.

Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, our community health worker immediately stepped in. Silas was offered a warm meal, personal attention, and safely transported to the hospital for the care he urgently required. Thanks to the vigilance and compassion of the All Care team, Silas received the personal support he needed—and we are grateful for the opportunity to care for him again.

As we approach Giving Tuesday, All Care Health Center invites our community to reflect on the power of caring for one another. Every day, individuals and families step through our doors carrying heavy worries—concerns about their health, their children, their financial stability, and their future. Many are managing chronic illness without the financial resources they need to stay well.

This Giving Tuesday, we are lifting up two meaningful ways to make an impact:

1. Care Today

Support urgent healthcare needs for neighbors experiencing homelessness, helping our outreach and clinical teams deliver vital care where it’s needed most. Up to $20,000 in donations to our Homeless Healthcare Program will be matched 100% by the Rupert Dunklau Foundation.

2. Hope for Tomorrow

Strengthen All Care’s Endowment Fund and secure the future of community healthcare in Southwest Iowa for generations to come. We thank the Community Foundation for Western Iowa for providing a 20% match for endowment donations up to $10,000, through December 12.

Mark your calendars to give on December 2, OR if your heart moves you, give today.
