When Healthcare Comes to School
For many families, the hardest part of getting healthcare isn’t the appointment itself. It’s finding the time to get there.
That’s why All Care Health Center’s Mobile Medical Clinic brings care directly to students at schools throughout the Council Bluffs Community School District.
The Mobile Medical Clinic provides primary medical care, well-child visits, sports physicals, medication management, sick visits, and vaccinations.
Kids don’t always get sick at convenient times, and finding time for a doctor’s appointment isn’t always easy. From an earache that pops up overnight to a sports physical before the first game or a routine checkup, the Mobile Medical Clinic makes it easier for students to get the care they need.
Throughout the school year, the Mobile Medical Clinic visits schools across the district on a rotating schedule:
- Mondays: Carter Lake Elementary | 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays: Thomas Jefferson High School | 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays: Abraham Lincoln High School | 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Thursdays: Kanesville Learning Center | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Alternating Fridays: Wilson and Kirn Middle Schools | 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Students can be seen by scheduling an appointment, walk-in, or speaking with their school nurse.To schedule an appointment, call (712) 309-1711.
Healthcare should fit into everyday life, not make it more complicated. By bringing healthcare directly to local schools, the Mobile Medical Clinic helps families spend less time coordinating appointments and makes it easier for students to get the care they need.

The event raises both awareness and funds to help provide mammograms, cervical cancer screenings, and other lifesaving programs for uninsured and underinsured Iowans. Every dollar raised stays in Iowa to support local access to care.
