Bill's Story

For years, Bill lived at the Joshua House, a place that gave him shelter but not always access to the healthcare he needed. That changed when he met the compassionate medical providers from All Care’s New Visions Homeless Services clinic. For the first time, Bill began receiving care and attention he had never known before. He had never had a doctor, insurance, or even understood how to be a patient — but with All Care’s guidance, that all began to change.
The team took time to listen to his story, answer his questions, and help him navigate his new Medicaid coverage. Step by step, Bill learned how to take charge of his health and advocate for himself. He says what meant the most was how All Care treated him — with dignity, patience, and respect.
“They treated me with respect and never gave up on me,” Bill shared. “They understand that not everyone’s story is the same, and that means everything.”
Today, with continued care and transportation support from All Care, Bill proudly celebrates his first full year of regular healthcare. For him, it’s more than just medical visits — it’s proof that with the right support, change is possible.
