All Care Health Center’s pharmacy is hosting walk-in COVID-19 immunization clinics on November 11 and December 2 from 8:00am – 11:00am.  Both of these clinics are being held during normal Saturday health center hours at All Care’s 902 S. 6th Street location. Patients and community members attending the clinic should bring insurance, if available.  Most insurances will cover the cost of the vaccine and administration of the dose.

As of October 4, 2023, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that individuals five years of age and older get an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness, regardless of whether they’ve received any original COVID-19 vaccines.  All Care’s Clinical Pharmacist and Pharmacy Director, JoLynn Ahmann, states that the rate of individuals requesting and receiving COVID-19 vaccinations at All Care has picked up this last month and is higher than last fall.

The walk-in immunization event is supported by The Health Resources & Services Administration’s 2023 COVID-19 Bridge Funding that helps to sustain fair access to COVID-19 testing, vaccination, and treatment.

The All Care Health Center pharmacy will also have flu shots available for those wishing to complete both vaccinations at the event.
